Ann Carrns at the NY Times continues flogging the idea that Income Based Repayment is some great gift. She writes about some dude who’s working at a Non-Profit and plans to stick the taxpayer with 60-some percent of the bill when he files for forgiveness in a few years. Whoo hoo! It looks like free money but it all lands on the back of the taxpayer. And this dude will be a taxpayer when he’s done. Sigh.
