Geezers beating the twerps at extracting cash

For more anecdotal evidence about the progress  in the battle between the geezers and the twerps, we turn to Chris Morran at the Consumerist who delivers some graphs from someone called the NPD group. It turns out that the oldsters are eating out more lately while the youngsters are eating out less, often much less.

The kids have the student loans and the tax payments to pay for the pensions. The oldsters have the pensions. Let’s see how long this lasts.

    The youngsters voted for the president in massive numbers. He has declared that social security, medicare and student loans are inviolable and that if there is a deficit problem it must be fixed by raising taxes.

    So who is going to pay those taxes? You guessed it.

    Congratulations kids.
